Amashiro Rosuke「天代郎助」is a minor character of the Beautiful Witches Seasons, who made his first debut in Beautiful Witches Of Earth, the first season of the series.
Rosuke is Amashiro Shinju's father.
Character Information[]
Amashiro Rosuke, actually known as Loo, is Amashiro Shinju, Taichi and Lani's father, who usually works from at home. Loo is usually the one who has to look after the kids, when he doesn't have to work and is in charge for their magical education. Despite his normal job on earth, Loo also works as the association officer between Kamon and Earth. Loo's also the current Paladin of the Stars.
At earth, he works as a freelance interpreter. He mostly works for the same company, but is known all over the world as the "international interpreter".
Etymology[]
Amashiro (天代?) - Amashiro comes from Ama (天?) meaning "sky" or "heaven", combined with Shiro (代?) meaning "period", "age" or "era".
Rosuke (郎助?) - Rosuke comes from Rō (郎?) meaning "son", combined with Suke (助?) meaning "help", "rescue" or "assist". So Rosuke could loosely be translated to "helping son" or "assisting son". Yet, 郎 could be a pun to his real name, as 郎 and Loo are pronounced the same in Japan.
